Executive Director Zane King was let go on Monday July 2, 2012 by the Cleaning For a Reason board of directors.
When contacted for comment the foundation offered this brief statement, “Zane King is no longer with Cleaning For a Reason. We wish him all the best”, said Debbie Sardone, Founder and President. Sardone went on to say, “We had an amicable separation”.
Cleaning For a Reason provided no further information about the separation, or who would replace King, or who would be running the day to day operations of the organization until a new executive director can be recruited and hired.
Zane King offered no official statement or comment on his firing from Cleaning For a Reason.
King, an association management professional, was hired in September 2011 by the non-profit foundation that provides free cleanings to women undergoing cancer treatment.
Prior to his brief tenure at Cleaning for a Reason, King served the Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas. He also served as the Donor Services Manager for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
The Cleaning For a Reason Foundation was founded in 2006 by cleaning industry consultant Debbie Sardone and is headquartered in Dallas, TX.
