The House Cleaning Technician (HCT) course is a 2-day classroom and hands-on course designed primarily for the cleaning technician but is also an outstanding resource for the business owner, managers, and trainers.
The vast majority of residential cleaners aren’t aware of the scientific advances in the areas of microbiology, chemistry and cleaning technology that improve our health and well-being. HCTs who successfully complete this class will be well versed in these topics as well as other important topics which include safety, methods and productivity.
This course is designed to elevate the professionalism of the Home Cleaning Technician and for the HCT to meet the expectation of a more-educated consumer base. Technicians are taught the value and methodology of proper cleaning, including the microbiology and chemistry behind soil, as well as how to identify and care for many of the materials and surfaces commonly found in homes. Technicians will register for and take the HCT examination at the end of the two-day course; exam and certification results will be issued by IICRC.
